In the beginning<\/strong><\/p>

With a strong passion for experimenting with a selection of materials, I started making handmade greeting\u00a0cards after a period of self-isolation in 2016. On route to seeking out unique picture frames, an opportunity to create\u00a0wooden street signs and tee shirts\u00a0incorporating Caribbean and British culture emerged.<\/p>

About Us<\/strong><\/p>

I founded my business in 2016 during a challenging period. I was undergoing ongoing chemotherapy and this was the second occasion where I had to self-isolate. It was a quiet, reflective phase, and I turned to watching endless amounts of television for comfort. One day, I stumbled across a craft channel, and that moment sparked the beginning of my creative journey.<\/p>

I became completely absorbed with everything I could find from any of the craft channels. I invested in crafting equipment, accessories and supplies, and revisited my old design portfolios and projects. I started experimenting making handmade cards, blending different media, and finding ways to creatively recycle materials.<\/p>

By the following year, I was well enough to display my artwork at local fairs and fetes. It was at one of the fairs in West London, that a customer suggested I apply for a stall at Portobello Road Market.<\/p>

I did apply and began trading in the summer of 2017 at Portobello Road Market every Friday as a temporary casual pitch holder and eventually graduated to having a permanent pitch. As I became familiar with the area, I noticed a gap in the market and began offering street signs with a Caribbean and British twist.<\/p>

Today, my designs are bold, story rich and influenced by Caribbean and British cultures.<\/p>

So, what happened next?<\/strong><\/p>

Fast forward to the present day - the collections\u00a0includes organic tee shirts created in a sustainable wind-powered factory. And other designed tings.<\/p>
